Last October, Cindi Santana, a 17-year-old South East End student, died after being attacked on school grounds, during lunchtime, by her ex-boyfriend. After Cindi’s death, members of the Youth Advisory Board at South East End High School felt like they needed to take action to prevent teen dating violence from claiming another life. So, they signed up for violence prevention training at a local Los Angeles women’s program. Watch the video above for a complete report, created by the students, on what took place. The end result? Cindi’s memory is honored in a beautiful way.
