A ten-year legal battle ended on Thursday morning when a judge dismissed rape charges against Brian Banks, ten years after he was accused and convicted of raping a fellow high school student. The dismissal came about after the accuser made a friend request on the social network Facebook. That request started a chain of events that eventually led to the accuser admitting she lied about the rape in a taped conversation.
It’s an incredible story, and well worth reading. Click here for the full story on the LA Times website.
Our best wishes to Mr. Banks.
